world Amazing Sports News Boy's Recovery "Amazing

Todd Unger
Omaha (KPTM) - A seven-year-old boy hit by a car last week is improving with each passing day.
Ethan Hann was riding his bike near 30th and Pacific Streets when he pulled out of a driveway into the path of an oncoming van.
He was rushed to Creighton University Medical Center in critical condition, but has since made a speedy recovery.
The little guy gave TV crews a big 'thumbs up' as he was wheeling his way through the hospital Thursday.
His family says they're overjoyed their son is still with them, especially after being on life support.
"There is no words to describe how that feels. To see him wake up this morning. It's just awesome," said Ethan's dad, Jeff.
Ethan suffered head trauma, which left him partially paralyzed for a bit on his left side, and also a broken arm.
He'll soon be heading to a rehab facility in Lincoln to work on his recovery.
His folks say the biggest lesson is to always wear one's helmet when bike riding.
Ethan was not, and his family knows they are lucky his injuries weren't even more severe.
There will be a bake sale coming up in few weeks in the young man's honor.

Bulginbaah continues amazing career

Wanganui wonder galloper Bulginbaah achieved one career milestone in Saturday's Foxbridge Plate at Te Rapa and is now in pursuit of another.
It was the 20th race win of the nine-year-old's amazing career which meant a lot in particular to his veteran Wanganui co-owner and trainer Ken Cropp.
"Ken watched the race at home and would have been smoking like a train. Getting that 20th win is something Ken really wanted to get as there are not many horses around that win that many," said Bulginbaah's co-trainer Catherine Wilson.
"It was an awesome feeling seeing him win today as we thought the distance (1200m) would be too short for him and we hoped he would just be running home strongly at the finish. As it turned out he won very easily," she said.
"Now we want him to get his first Group One win in the Mudgway Stakes at Hastings later this month," Wilson said. "He was second behind Fritzy Boy in the Mudgway last year."
Bulginbaah has also been placed at Group 1 level in the Captain Cook Stakes at Trentham (third) and Stoney Bridge Stakes at Hastings (fifth).
"Weight-for-age races are pretty much his go now as he gets too much weight in the handicaps," she said. After the Mudgway he will also contest the Windsor Park (formerly Stoney Bridge) Stakes at Hastings but will not go on to run in the third leg of the Hastings tripe crown, the Kelt Capital Stakes.
